The Ogden Canyon boasts a waterfall located at the mouth of Ogden Canyon off of SR-39. The water pipeline that feeds this waterfall runs the length of the canyon from Pineview Dam. Engineers designed an overflow valve in the system that allows water to cascade down the mountainside.

During the pioneer-era construction of the late 1800s, there was a great need for building supplies. In 1865, because limestone was naturally abundant in Ogden Canyon, this provoked early settler, James Moroni Thomas to build this 25-feet high limestone kiln.
